Who we are.

Guiding Light Behavioral Health in Windham, Maine is an outpatient practice focused on supporting first responders, emergency response workers, their families, and public safety organizations. We provide services to clients throughout the states of Maine and New Hampshire both virtually and in person.

We are committed to providing high quality therapeutic services. We use evidence-based therapies and best practices, tailoring sessions to meet our clients’ needs. We believe it’s essential as therapists to stay up-to-date on advances, research, and new strategies — especially regarding trauma work and Police and Public Safety Psychology.

We provide safe, compassionate, judgment-free, and confidential care. So all clients feel welcome and can openly share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences and work through the issues that brought them to therapy.

Additionally, we believe in supporting each other. Trauma work is rewarding but can also be draining. So it’s important that we are open with each other, seek advice or supervision, or check-in as needed. Because maintaining our emotional health and resilience is essential for us to provide quality care.
