Live-in fire students have to juggle a lot of responsibility and stress between working and living at the fire station, along with the typical stress of being a college student. Additionally, these students may experience high-stress, distressing, or traumatic events while getting hands-on experience.
Since many live-in fire students become firefighters, paramedics, or other types of emergency response workers, building resilience and strong behavioral health can help them now and in the future. So they’re emotionally equipped to manage high-stress and demanding jobs and are comfortable to ask for help if needed.

This workshop is designed for live-in fire students and
their parents.
We’ll provide them with tangible skills they can use now to improve their emotional health and well-being.
Workshops can be adapted to fit your department’s needs and can range from 1 to 3 hours. These can serve as an in-service presentation or training.
We will coordinate with you to ensure your live-in fire students get the necessary tools, insights, and information they need.
One-on-One Check-in on Your Overall Wellness
